Overview

A greenhouse is a controlled environment only if it is actually measured. Sensors wired across long spans are expensive to install and moving a bed means moving cable; by the time a heat spike or a gas build-up is noticed manually, part of the crop is already lost.

WEST smart greenhouse uses battery-powered 2.4GHz wireless sensors that monitor temperature, humidity and harmful gas, reporting to a wireless reader network. Because the sensors are wireless, coverage follows the crops — and e-ink labels keep batch and treatment information readable at the bed without paperwork.
