Vehicle & Port Anti-collision
Prevent collisions between straddle carriers, forklifts and people in ports, terminals and heavy-industry yards — accurate positioning plus in-vehicle alarms and geo-fenced safety zones.
Overview
In ports and steel yards, drivers work with limited visibility and constant blind spots. A warning that arrives half a second late is useless: the system must know the distance between vehicles, and between vehicles and pedestrians, in real time.
WEST anti-collision combines UWB positioning with in-vehicle and wearable tags that raise sound & light alarms when two tags approach, plus geo-fenced pedestrian and hazard zones. Every event is logged, which makes incident review and safety audits straightforward.
System Architecture
Three layers: tags on vehicles & people → outdoor positioning coverage → alarm rules and logging.
Vehicles & people
WE-T52 rechargeable alarm tag (in-vehicle)
WE-T51 sound & light locator tag
Distance-based alarm
Outdoor positioning coverage
10–30 cm accuracy
Wired / PoE backhaul
Rules & logging
WE-LS10 server for data & reports
Event history for audits
Recommended Products
Typical configuration for yard and terminal safety.
Tags for vehicles & people

WE-T206-Z
UWB location tag with SOS / fall alert and IP67 rating — worn by drivers and pedestrians on site.

WE-T52
Rechargeable acousto-optic alarm tag for in-vehicle mounting, warning the driver before contact.

WE-T51
2.4GHz asset tag with sound & light alarm, useful for marking movable equipment in the yard.
Outdoor infrastructure

WE-RA210-O
Outdoor wired positioning base station with 10–30 cm accuracy for yards, quays and terminals.

WE-RA210
Indoor UWB base station for warehouses and workshops where vehicles also operate.

WE-LS10
Positioning server that evaluates alarm rules and stores event history for safety reporting.
Key Benefits
Warning before contact
Distance-based alarms fire while there is still time to brake, not after the impact.
Geo-fenced safety zones
Mark pedestrian-only or crane-operation areas and get automatic alarms when a tag enters them.
Evidence for audits
Every near-miss and zone violation is stored with time and position, ready for safety reviews.
